Reiki From Jay - Magnesium Oil

Magnesium Oil Benefits

Most of us today are deficient in magnesium.

Magnesium is essential for your energy, cell growth, nerves, muscles and heart and arterial system. It can help you to relax both physically and mentally. Magnesium dissolves excess calcium in the body. It is antagonistic toward aluminium, cadmium, lead, mercury and nickel, so is essential for good health if you live in a polluted environment.

We no longer get much magnesium in our diets due to things such as farm soils being of poor quality.
Stress and alcohol also cause magnesium deficiency.

Topping up on magnesium can help in so many ways with so many things.
Some of the conditions that magnesium can help with include:- ADHD symptoms, insomnia, muscle aches and cramps, migraines and headaches, menstrual problems, asthma, diabetes, cancers, allergies, constipation, erectile dysfunction, low energy and lethargy, restless leg syndrome and many more things.

Magnesium is a difficult mineral to supplement orally, especially as we need so much of it. If you take magnesium sulphate (Epsom salts) it will give you diarrhoea. Most other magnesium salts taken orally also have a laxative effect. This is not always practical for most people.

The answer is through your skin.

You cannot overdose with the oil. Your skin only absorbs as much as you need.
Most of the absorption takes place within 20 minutes.

Dosage. 1-2 teaspoons per day for an adult.
You can use it for children. Start with a small quantity or use in the bath. I use around 1 teaspoon worth on my 10 and 15 year old.
Pets also love it.
If you want to shower or rinse off the magnesium oil after using it, wait 20 minutes after application.

Some people notice a stinging or tingling sensation when first using magnesium oil. In very rare cases, a slight rash may develop.
People often say that the the more it tingles, the more deficient you are. However, once your levels increase, the sensation will disappear.

To minimise the tingling sensations you can- dilute the magnesium oil with distilled water but you would then need to use more of it to get the right amount or you can apply it to the more fuller parts of the body such as thighs, buttocks and tummy.

Adding a few sprays of magnesium oil to a little coconut oil and then rubbing into the skin can really help to stop the irritation too.

Never use magnesium oil on your face, eyes, genitals or other sensitive areas.
If magnesium oil gets into a cut or broken skin it will really sting but will also help aid healing.
